Is a nice little wedding with Blow-up Randy and Jackson My Love too much to ask for? Clearly, because someone’s trying to kill one of us...again. When someone attacks me, it’s clear they want something from me. The issue is that I have no idea who they are or what they’re after. And if I don’t figure it out soon, I’m afraid Leland is going to smother me with his overprotectiveness (or put me in a bubble at the top of a tower). The issue is that time is ticking and with the price tag on my head, there’s no telling who is coming for me or when. Together, Leland and I have to decipher who is telling the truth in this game of life or death because I have plans to marry the man of my dreams, and no one is going to stop me - especially with Leland by my side.

This book contains humor, action, romance, bad behavior on a golf course, sort of abducting a child who lacks kung fu power, enough car chases and shooting to make even Leland happy, and spontaneous singing.

Exciting adventure

From the first book to the last it is an exciting adventure. So many laughs and a few tears. The story was captivating and the narrator was perfect. I want to listen to more of their books. I can’t wait for Cassel’s story to be available on audible.

I picked to get this auto book just based on reviews from others. I loved
the two main characters, their interplay—sarcastic with a touch of bitchiness sprinkled heavily on their relationships with others. Sometimes I had to stop and remind myself there was a mystery and danger ahead of them. I liked the strange ways problems were resolved. I highly recommend this book. I need to look for more written by this author. Before I forget, I REALLY liked the narrator. He did a great job reading the characters, breathing life and personality into them.

I want more!

This series has been recommended so many times, yet I’ve never read it. I needed something light and funny after a particularly dark read so I thought this was the perfect time to dive in.

I binge listened to the whole series this weekend and I’m now looking for my next Alice Winters read.

I loved the characters; I loved the story. I actually laughed out loud so many times.

I don’t know that I would have loved this series as much if I had just read it. Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. He did such an amazing job with each character…I cannot wait to listen to more of his performances!

I really hope we see more of these guys...and a book about Jeremy and Cassel!

This is, unquestionably, a must-read series.

Loved the characters, the humor, action, heartfelt story! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Something I can enjoy over and over.

Just started book 3

So, I’m a few chapters in book 3 and I’ve already laughed so hard I’ve cried, now I’m crying not from laughter. Can’t say anymore for anyone who’s read the other books and haven’t started this one. I want to say Mary Calmes is quickly one of my favorite authors. I don’t know how she can put everything you need in a book. I love her books because you don’t always get laughter to the point of tears along with great characters and story lines. I’m in love with Jackson, Leland, Henry and all the characters. If you are at all hesitant about getting this series, don’t think, just buy it! I think this may be my favorite series of Mary’s, but honestly they are all great. When I get lost in her books, I never get enough sleep because I cannot put them down no matter how tired I am! Thanks Mary Calmes, you truly are a gifted writer and I know you have to be a funny person to be around because the humor in your books is by far the best I’ve ever read! You put just enough of everything in every book, even the love scenes between the main characters in this book are both so funny that I laugh out loud, but quickly become so steamy and sometimes so loving it’s both sexy and heartwarming at the sane time. I find myself wondering how you do this in your books as I am reading them!
