The Mist and Luke explained.

What made the experience of listening to The Heroes of Olympus: The Demigod Diaries the most enjoyable?

The book really shows a bit more of Luke and why he did what he did. The end of the book also really explains how the mist works in an easily understood way. It also explains how the concept of magic works in all the previous percy jackson series .

Who was your favorite character and why?

Alabaster, because he explains the mist and he figures out solution to a problem that no one else could figure out, with the help of a human!

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like how Riordan himself narrates in the book also Nick Chamian is better than in the blood of olympus.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Percy Jackson the Prequill

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Heroes of Olympus: The Demigod Diaries?

We liked the last story written by Rick's son. Amazing that a 16-year-old wrote it!

These short stories by Rick Riordan are great additions to his novels. We've enjoyed reading each one that he's created.

Good stories!! It fills in nicely in between.

This one is hard to know when to read/listen to. My guess is originally these were individual stories and not collective. So, I would look up to when to read/listen in order to understand who some characters are and when it fits in.

Overall, I love the mini stories. It is a nice way to fill in some gaps, that would not be necessary in the main series.

Please Note: The last story is unlike the rest. It is good and creative but it might be a little tough for younger ones to understand and might be a bit hard to understand. However, it is a good discussion to have with the kids, when they are ready.
