Publisher's Summary

The Heidelberg Catechism has been admired for its clarity as an expression of the Reformed Christian faith, and its warm, personal tone. Many of its questions and answers have been memorized by thousands and have become an anchor for faith. This 450th Anniversary Edition of The Heidelberg Catechism is a fresh and accurate translation from the 1563 German and Latin texts. It is also an ecumenical effort in that it is recommended for use in Reformed and Presbyterian churches today. This development fits the catechism's original purpose for not only teaching the faith but also uniting various churches by means of a common confession.

Very accessible edition of the Heidelberg

Would you consider the audio edition of The Heidelberg Catechism: 450th Anniversary Edition to be better than the print version?

This is a great complement to the print edition of the Heidelberg Catechism, especially for those members of our church who cannot read (old and young).

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Heidelberg Catechism: 450th Anniversary Edition?

Thank you to the narrator for his especially clear reading of the Heidelberg. His speaking rate and tenor of his voice make this easy to listen to.

I LOVE the ending.
