Publisher's Summary

I've waited years for my drop-dead sexy boss, Tristan Hunter, to notice me as something other than his right-hand gal. But though his dog is deeply in love with me, Tristan and I seem doomed to the friend zone.

Until the night we kiss...

It's all a ruse, of course - our make-out session is for the benefit of the two heartbreakers who dumped us - but very real sparks fly when his lips meet mine.

At least...they're real for me.

***

She's my employee, one of my best friends, my dog Luke's not-so-secret crush, and totally off-limits.

So why am I suddenly unable to think of anything but Zoey Childers?

Two days into our fake engagement and I'm dying to take her to bed and show her just how real the heat could be between us. But crossing that line wouldn't just be borderline unethical - it could be lethal to our friendship.

Zoey isn't a casual fling kind of girl, and after the way things ended with my ex, I don't trust my instincts when it comes to love.

I should call off this fake engagement before somebody gets hurt, but how do I say no to something real with Zoey when every bone in my body is dying to say yes?

The Heartbreaker is a sexy, swoony stand-alone romance.

Love Sebastian and Andi

Narrators are magic as always. Sebastian and Andi are and always will be dynamic together. They truly bring a book to life. They are the reason you don't want to put a book down. Any book they narrated is worth the read if you ask me, which you did and why this is being written. Love them together.

disappointed

I have loved several of this authors books but this one was not one of them. the narrator's were great, but the story plot wasn't the best , I'm sad to say this book disappointed me and didnt live up to my expectations of this author.

Ehh

This book was not like the others in the series. I really thought this one would be good, maybe even better than the other two but the story fell so short, it’s basically like it didn’t even need to be written. I usually like this authors books but I’m sadden that I’ll have to return this one.

just one thing

the only thing from this book, and the previous one too, is the use of the birth control known as an IUD. I have three children and have had two different doctors to deliver them....and both of them explained IUD's to me. They are almost NEVER placed if you've never had any children at all due to risk of scar tissue. One of my docs didn't like them at all and in fact refused to place one after my second child! he said he would have a partner at his office do it if I really wanted it but he himself did not believe that they were a safe option for anyone. he had seen to many problems with them over his many years in practice and that was what made his mind up!!

so, I'm just saying that it is a hard idea for me personally to buy into and I wish you would research it better and use something more believable!

but, this is a great series and that is a really minor thing so I still recommend these books to anyone!!

Hot and Emotional<br />

This Hunter man is such a lover yet blind as a bat. It took him awhile but he finally saw her. I loved this book the most.

Different than the normal HEA

I love the fresh idea of having the main characters admit close the the beginning that they like each other. Great story.
Loved the epilogue told from Luke’s POV!

It was cute enough, but not exciting.

The story lacked that certain je ne sais quoi that makes a story exciting. It was too campy. And that epilogue, omg. I could have lived without that Epilogue. I guess the author was aiming for cute and endearing but I found it creepy.

Fun and flirty

Tristan, the youngest Hunter is sensitive and vulnerable, yet he’s still as masculine, sexy and adorable as his older brothers. He’s not naive (well he was with his bitchy ex), he’s honest to a fault and doesn’t shy away from commitment, it’s very refreshing. His best friend, and work colleague, Zoey Childers has crushed on him for what seems like forever, and when thy get a chance to explore a relationship (admittedly a fake one), they both jump at the chance. It isn’t going to stay fake for long though, they’re both just too innocent and honest to lie to each other. A fun read, with the naughty pooch, Luke, stealing the limelight on more than one occasion. Again, perfect narration from my favourite duo.

rescue centre and true love

this was great because although there was drama, the lead characters were mature and on the same page.
I often wonder at love stories where the couple are so at odds they don't trust their partner.
this is a refreshing change.
