Heartfelt small town love story
The Heart of Baker Bay is my first book by Danielle Jacks, and it was fantastic. The characters were lovable, and it was a page turner. Jody and Adam meet in a small town by the beach. He is drawn to something about her. She is a free spirit, but she might have found her calling at Her grandmother’s tea room. She finds a purpose, her place in life, and love. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I can’t wait to check out more titles!

love the characters and the story
I really loved the characters in this story - the "loser" female and the "reclusive" male.
I'm happy with the happy-ending of the story - they both deserved it!
The audio quality wasn't good - it felt like it was recorded in a basement - there was an eco and a metallic sound to the narrator. Also, when there are multiple POV, it is my preference to have more than one narrator.

Beautiful Slow Burn Romance!
This was my first Danielle Jacks's book. This small town romance is beautifully written, sweet, and heartwarming. Jody and Adam's story is emotional. The characters are complex and interesting. This is a beautiful slow burn romance. Joanne Lohr is a new narrator to me. She has a beautiful voice, pleasant to listen to.
