As a product of the Civil rights movement....l was raised within some ancestral tradtitions. Hearing her talk about roots awakened memories regarding possible solutions for our life's challenges. Every family in the south knew about the "root" worker. More of my lived experience to share with my children.

Loved it, this book helps black women tap into our African Spirituality by giving us wisdom which empowers us to make better choices. It’s unfortunate many people will never hear the contents of this book because they read the title or looked at the cover and instantly placed a judgement. If you can get past that AND read it until the END you might be able to come across all of its helpful information.
