Ghosts and Demons Galore

As a long time listener of Celinas podcast The Haunted Estate, i was so eager to listen to her first work of fiction. Her first book was a amazing read and this book did not disappoint. This story is not your classic ghost story, it's better. It is like one of those creepy stories you feel could actually happen to you. Celina wrote in a way that made me feel like i fell into the book, her description of clandestine house brought it to life. The last two chapters had me so consumed i lost track of time. I was left hollering ! My only complaint is that it was not long enough. Tonight i will covering all my mirrors! - Great job!

Fantastic Ghost Story

This is so far my fave ghost story of this year. The spooky narration fits perfectly. I quickly fell for Hannahs desperate need for something good to happen. The final chapters had me on the edge of my car seat and I took the long way home because i just couldn't stop without knowing what happened. No spoilers here, but the ending kind of blew my mind. I was so not expecting that. I hope the author writes more about Clandestine House.

Excellent story, narrated well

Celina Myers has a voice fit for narration, and a writing style fit for an author. The combination of these, with a strong storyline, make for an excellent read or listen.

Lackluster.

I truly wanted to like this story. But after the 1st chapter it became lackluster. Hanna's character was uninteresting and dull. This is no disrespect to the author but, I think she should have had a more experienced actor to narrate this book. Because her narration was vapid. she read as if she was reading in front of a room full of kids. All the characters sounded the same, being them male or female. Not saying that she can't read because she definitely can. I just found myself falling asleep. I wish her all the best, and will keep an eye out for her next book. I believe in second chances.😏
