Third in the "trilogy" Not the end.

So Amazon.com has been calling this series a trilogy, it's not. No closure here. But that's actually ok. Turns out this is the best one yet (though I think the 4th book should be it). The first book, The Demon King, was a slow builder as the foundations of the characters, their past, and their environments was filled out by the author with care. The second book, The Exiled Queen, had more happening. But this third one is full of action driving the story forward at a much quicker pace. There are many exciting developments and I was caught by surprise at the sudden announcement of the narrator saying, "The End." I should have noticed the subtle difference in the publisher description as a 'seven realms novel' instead of 3rd in a trilogy. But the listening hours were long enough and the story definitely engaging enough that I wasn't too put out. The narrator is limited in her range of believable male voices but is still enjoyable. I will be getting the next one... (I don't repeat story synopsis in a review since that is found in the book description already, but, since no ratings are given it should be said that all 3 so far have been completely 'clean' of adult content for anyone who is concerned about that)

Depth of story and logic is great characters even better

Risk, daring, plot all rewarding to listen to. Could not wait to get back to my studio to make art and listen so at times i didn't. I am now on the next book of this series and cannot eat for it to down load to see who the queen ends up with or if she herself ends.

Wonderful

Great continuation of the storyline. Exciting action, daring escapes & characters to cheer for & villains to hate. Ms Chima is an excellent author. I feel I can see her world so clearly in my mind's eye :)

Enjoyed!

Would you listen to The Gray Wolf Throne again? Why?

This Rate "G" series was entertaining and I enjoyed it. I look forward to a 4th book as I think there is room for more story. :)

So glad I found this author

Ms. Chima, has two series that I have followed. Both of them are excellent. This book continues the saga, building upon the story line. The development of the characters and how they interact continues to intrigue the reader. I can not wait for the final installment in this series. I also recommend the series of The Warrior Heir.

Great

Another fantastic installment in the Seven Realms series! Very glad I never read this prior to my Audible membership because Carol Monda brings me right back to bedtime stories with my Mom and at 28, with so much chronic pain, that is such a soothing, wonderful way to cope.

Loved this series

Love this series and the next that goes along with it!
It too me a chapter or two to really get into it, but once I did I had to listen to them all!
She does a great job world building, and her words are so descriptive without being overdone.
Narration was perfect!
Not just for teens, but my teenager loved them as well as me!
