I really like it....

I really like Emma Gardner and the whole ,her own series . But I do not like Riddick. He takes away from her and he is a loose cannon and wines too much. I think there should be more focus on Emma. She needs like an odd funny partner. Enough with Riddick ,plz. There seems to be more about him then Emma. I really want to continue the series but if Riddick stays ,I just can't. Narration is great.

Still pretty great but…

I’m starting to feel quite annoyed at our hero. DI Paul Riddick. Just becoming so completely self indulgent and blaming himself for every darned thing-quite pathological actually, and maybe thats as intended. This being said, a great plot line with lots of branches and spandrels to the story line. I will be continuing to read all the books in the series that there are, because like it or not, I’m completely hooked. Sigh.
