Ok so Gentlemen Jim is probably one of my favorite books of all time ♥️♥️♥️♥️ so I have loved each and every one of the books in this series 😍
I loved Jack! I feel a little broken hearted to have this family story come to an end but I felt like this was so well done. I love all of Mimi’s books ♥️ and Alex is probably one of my all time favorite narrators ♥️♥️♥️ I’ll listen to him all day long!

SO many children!!! Look at me already salivating just thinking about all those future books Mimi has to write and Alex Wyndham has to perform. The Governess and the Rogue is a charming finale to the much loved Somerset Stories series by Mimi Matthews. Immerse yourself in a journey of friendship, family, and a wholesome love story. Very happy I waited for the audiobook.

Lovely story - worth waiting for

Mimi Matthews and Alex Wyndham are my very favorite audio book combo. Mimi Matthews is amazing at creating interesting stories with characters that pull you right into the story....and keep you there. Alex Wyndham Is masterful at interpreting the story and giving the characters life and beautiful voices.
In the previous books which I've listened to multiple times, Jack was a hapless and likeable fella. In this book, he's matured into a strong mature man.....who is still a bit hapless and very likeable.
Revisiting and catching up with characters from previous books in the series is always a lovely experience for me. And this book was no exception.

Thank you Mimi Matthews!! I just love your books. I like how you always include a cute animal in them (or several) and the message that even if you struggle with limitations, there’s always hope and love still. I also like how you tied the other characters together including the Devon Orphans series- I can’t wait for your next book!
And my favorite combo is a Mimi Matthews book with Alex Wyndham narrating! Such a great job as always! Thank u!

Sweet clean romance

I love Mimi Matthews and this is a great addition to this series. It’s a bit predictable, but lovely.

Uninteresting

I’ve read every single one of Mimi Matthews’s books and I’ve been waiting for this one for months, but unfortunately I have to say this was a miss. The characters lack depth and you never really feel interested in them. Theres also no real climax to the story? I was so surprised when I realized the book was almost done because I was still waiting for the story to peak and thought we just hadn’t gotten to that part yet, only to find it was almost over.
