Quick, romantic, enjoyable

Wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this, however I really did enjoy it. It’s a fairly quick listen, around 6hrs. I really liked the characters and you end up rooting for the two main ones!! :)

I really enjoyed this book. The only thing I disliked is Sophia's parents & the way she was treated by her family. It would have been nice for her alone to get a HEA. She was the only one that deserved it.

favorite Christmas romance ever

I listen every year and every year it kills me. Mimi and Alex are the best ever combination....

Enjoyable read!

Another good story from Matthews. A little more mild language than the others I've read but it's still a 'clean' romance that I enjoyed listening to. Alex Wyndham, once again, does a fabulous performance of A Holiday by Gaslight!!

A+ audiobook on all fronts

Thought out, well structured plot. The author clearly did her research. The narrator was outstanding. Perhaps the best I've ever heard. Would definitely recommend it!

I was fully immersed

I was fully immersed and it definitely got me into the Christmas spirit. However, I think it was way too short... and I honestly would have enjoyed just a little more storyline in terms of how the father fixed his issues, and the aftermath of our leading lady or at least an epilogue set a few years in the future. If nothing else, I thoroughly enjoyed the voice acting of Alex Wyndham..... he has a very sultry and attractive male voice.

A warm and cozy Christmas romance. I really appreciate how clean it is and the reader did an amazing job!

Absolutely loved

I truly love a good romantic Regency book, especially when the narrator is Alex Wyndham. The Christmas setting was a bonus.
