Rich! Inspiring! 20th century homesteader.

Inspiring interview with a woman who (alongside her husband) lived a simple, purposeful, rich life off the land. I re-listen to this book every two years or so and come away with new nuggets. My only regret is not getting to meet the interviewee (Helen Nearing) or her husband while they were still alive. What I wouldn’t give to have someone like them as a friend or neighbor!!!

i thought it was a book!

although interesting, it's just a long interview. not the actual book.

i enjoyed listening to it, but honestly dont think it was worth the money! i feel duped.
