How did this narrator ever get approved?? So many mispronounced words, especially Doose (Taylor). Ugh. Cringe. Nails on a chalkboard. That being said, if you can stand to get past those irritations; the information in the book itself is enjoyable.

Narrator is AWFUL

I loved all the background information in this book, but it drove me crazy that the narrator clearly had no understanding of or love for the show. The names mispronounced (Doose's??) were like nails on a chalkboard, and seriously, do they think anyone listening to this was NOT a Gilmore fan?? They should have done their homework, and I have to say, since the two main characters were both women, and it was a story of their relationship, I think it would have been nicer to have a woman read the audiobook.

Pretty clear the narrator never watched the show

Loved everything! Genuine, honest, FUNNY, humble. Related to unique thought path for views/ideas and references/metaphors

Great for Gilmore Fans

I wanted to be more interested but found myself zoning out and having to rewind. There were a few words pronounced incorrectly that were resounding. Doose’s market for example. I’m not saying it was disappointing but I don’t think the narrator had ever seen the show and was just reading a book with no excitement.

Beautifully written but ill performed

I feel like I’m listening to my grandpa dish about the Gilmore Girls. It’s tolerable, other than the fact that he can’t pronounce a main character’s name. Taylor “Deuce” “Deuce’s” Market. Terrible.

Could a less hip person be the reader?
