Great story, left it open for more fodder opportunities. Some narratives high pitched and squeaky. Overall great book. My favorite series so far.

Love this series
This is a great little series. No excessive, cursing or unnecessary sexual content. If you listen to the whole series, there are a lot of repetitive remarks about the characters however, I guess it’s normal if someone starts in the middle of the series.

Most hated bad guy!
Bobby Holmes wrote this book with, by far, the most intense and awful character of any of her books. As much as I hated the character, it made this a story I needed to burn through as fast as possible. I was hanging on every word. I’d hate to do any spoilers, but truly, I’ll just say I hate the interim chief. He’s just such a jerk!!!
