Publisher's Summary
In this funny and frothy novella that picks up where the New York Times best-selling The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue leaves off, freshly minted couple Monty and Percy fumble through their first time together.
Monty’s epic grand tour may be over, but now that he and Percy are finally a couple, he realizes there is something more nerve-wracking than being chased across Europe: getting together with the person you love.
Will the romantic allure of Santorini make his first time with Percy magical, or will all the anticipation and build-up completely spoil the mood?
Critic Reviews
"Anyone who loved Percy and Monty in The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue will want to hear this sweet, brief novella sequel. Christian Coulson returns to narrate as Percy, Monty, Felicity, and their friends enjoy an extended idyll on Santorini, recovering from their adventures and thinking about what comes next. Coulson slips easily back into the characterizations - Felicity is smart and sharp-tongued, Monty teeters between smug charm and self-deprecation, and Percy remains patient and empathetic....It's a funny and tender interlude for listeners who want to spend more time with these characters." This Gentleman’s Guide to Repeat Listening
"When I first started working at Audible, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue was the very first story that a colleague recommend. (Big shout out to editor Katie for that one!) In addition to being one of my favorite love stories, it also happens to feature one of my favorite performances. Christian Coulson (a.k.a. a young Tom Riddle from your other favorite series) swept me off my feet with his portrayal of a young, but still very rakish, Lord Monty and his best-friend-turned-lover, Percy. While we manage to catch a glimpse of their life together in Felicity’s story, The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, that cameo still left me wanting more from this dynamic duo. And it’s finally here! I can already tell that this will be an adventure I’ll be listening to over and over again."

Loved it
I have missed this particular literary gang. Mainly, Monty and Percy, though Felicity’s dry sarcastic humor is always a plus. With this novella being as short as it is you really can’t say anything without well... giving away pretty much everything. So what can be said?
One: Christian Coulson is back to narrate (thank goodness).
Two: Monty is still an entire hilarious mess, and hijinks are always abound.
Three: Percy is still adorable, lovable, and to be protect at all cost.
Four: Felicity. The sarcastic queen! Nothing else needs to be said on that.
But truly the novella had a cohesive plot, and there were quite a few moments where serious topics were discussed 10/10.

We Definitely Got Lucky With This One!
What a wonderful (and adorable) novella! It was so fun getting to spend more time with Monty, Percy, Felicity, and the other colorful cast of characters from Lee’s swashbuckling series.
I love that Christian Coulson reprises his role as Monty to narrate this short. My only disappointment with this work was that it was far too short! Still very much enjoyed the listen. I hope this isn’t the last we’ll see of this universe!

More, please!
This was a great little story to give us a bit more closure on Monty & Percy’s relationship from Book 1. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I feel like it could’ve been just a bit longer, in order to flesh out the story more. (And especially for the price.) I knew going in that it was a novella, and only 2 hrs, which is fine—I’ll gladly take whatever I’m given of these characters and be grateful. But I do feel like we just weren’t given any actual resolutions to the plot, or the issues brought up here in this story. That being said, though, what we got was super cute and as always Christian Coulson did an excellent job on the narration! This series was the first time I’d listened to anything read by him, and I will now definitely be looking for his other work. He truly does an amazing job embodying the characters and garnering the right emotions. His performance alone is a 10/10!

An excellent romp!
The most hilarious book I’ve read or listened to in years. Seriously by the end of it I was laughing so hard I was wheezing!
Even though it’s only a two hour novella I enjoyed it so much I completely think it was worth a credit.
The perfect little follow on from The gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue, the one problem with it being it just makes you want more Monty and Percy. I almost wish it was a collection of short stories from their life together, but we can live in eternal hope.
The audio performance is perfect and definitely enhances to the book.
Would recommend completely to anyone who has read the first book in the series and has developed a bit of a soft spot for Monty and Percy. Or anyone who has two empty hours on their hands and fancies laughing until they wet themselves.

I have the same issues with this novella as I did for the original book. Monty makes stupid decision after stupid decision and there would literally be no plot if he just was a normal less annoying person.
