Publisher's summary

A single decision can make a huge impact on the world. Like leaving your planet to have fun with humans on Earth.

Humans are fighting a war against alien invaders that spans thousands of millennia. Many generations have been preparing for such an epic conquest, though there are times when the stories of old have been lost, forgotten, or ignored. Those that come into the power to defend the planet, whether they have the prior knowledge of their role or not, all have one thing in common: The ability to infiltrate the enemy’s ranks and crush them from the inside.

With powers that they may or may not know that they have, humans will have to fight for their right not to be a luxury food item on the galactic menu. Yet, not everything is so black and white when seen from the aliens' perspective....

Good book boring narration

The stories were good but I found it hard to stay consistently interested due to the performance. It would have been much more entertaining if there was more dramatic tones from the narrator. Instead it was very monotone and hard to make a commuter companion.

If you want an interesting story to listen to before bed this is a great choice.

Fascinating Sci-fi book

I really enjoyed the book. Some of the beginning was confusing til I started to realize what was happening. There’s a lot of thought provoking ideas that come with the book. Overall an excellent story.

Was a great premise but missed the mark

I am a fairly avid listener to audiobooks especially science fiction. This book had so much potential but the narration was inconsistent and frankly kind of weird in some places. And the story was plodding and written in almost a childish manner. I think what disappointed me most was that the story really never came to a satisfying conclusion and there was so much left to explore between the aliens and the humans. In summary it had the potential but fell far short of it.
