Super fun and engaging!

I am visiting Texas next month and I’m glad I came across this. I have never been and didn't know what to expect until I listened to this. Drooling aside, I am so excited to try some of the mouthwatering Texas favourites and visit the listed local hotspots and hidden gems. I also loved the “Texa-llent" puns that made me chuckle throughout! Thank you too for adding the accompanying PDF which will be useful for my trip!

From cackling to taking note

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. I've been to Texas only a few times, and I know food in Texas is food indeed. From cackling to taking note of what I want to eat next time I'm in Texas, I can't but make a wish - The Funny Travel List: PHILLY Eat and Drink!

More than expected.

Now I’m hungry and I’ll probably always hunger until I can eat in Texas! It was creative and funny with a neat list of places.

I feel ready to travel now!!

I have traveled to Texas in the past, and I would've loved to have this Audiobook with me by then; so many places to visit and so much food I have to come back and try. I feel motivated to go back and visit Texas to be able to go to every amazing place this book recommends.

Next time I drive through Texas,,,

I going to map out all the places to stop and eat! This book should not be listened to on an empty stomach :) Makes me wish for summer weather and BBQ!

Texa-llent food places to visit

I've only been to Galveston, Texas, to visit some family members, and this list makes me want to explore more of Texas. My family and I are foodies at heart, and we realize we are missing out on so much of the Texan food scenes after listening to this audiobook. Looking forward to trying some the recommended food!

Fun and informative!

This was such a unique listen! If you’re planning a trip to Texas this is must listen. The narrator makes it fun to listen to and the eatery suggestions have all been saved in my Google Maps. It takes all guess work out for where we should eat on our trip. Even if you’re native Texan I’m sure you’ll find valuable information in this humorous Audible. Definitely recommend this book!

What a fun book!!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I chose this audiobook but the title intrigued me so I thought what the heck just listen! I was not disappointed. I had no idea that many kinds of peaches even existed, let alone were grown in Texas, and the talk about all the different foods left me wanting to hop on a plane and go right now!
Plus, the author is quite funny, and the narrator does a great job keeping you entertained.
This is truly a Texa-llent read (or listen), especially if you have the opportunity to visit the Lone Star State.

I spend a lot of time in Texas since my in-laws are there. This book introduced me to some spots I wasn't aware of but I've placed them on my get-to-know-them list! Enjoyed it!

Great for passing time

I was driving from Phoenix to Tucson while I listened to this. Perfect time length, not too long not too short. Keeps the listener engaged by making mention of funny anecdotes, while also providing some drink and food prep ideas! Thanks Chuck.
