Creature Feature!

I loved this spin. I appreciate the specific wording used, references to the original tale, and the update to modern times. I hope that the hint of world building and connections to be made are explored and I eagerly await more books as I downloaded #2 next!

Best retelling ever!

This was a delight to read, I was bracing myself for a heart-wrenching ending, but Katheryn Anne Kingsley did it again, she gave us a HEA! Finally Erik gets the love he deserves.

Funny spicy updated version of the story

I really liked the story and that it was in a way an update of the prior story. The only thing I didn’t like is that, and this is a spoiler, that it ended basically like the original. He still had her make a choice and was bad. But then suddenly he shows up six months later and he’s different and back again and it ends. That didn’t make sense. I think the story would’ve ended better if his mistakes and since she loved him, he could’ve made a different choice. That would’ve made this much better in my opinion.
