Publisher's summary

From the award-winning author of The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride.

Jason Cashman has reached the goal he spent the last 20 years seeking, but instead of feeling content, he feels empty. When he meets Alexandra Lopez, a 10-year-old America-loving girl facing deportation, he is inspired by his old friend, Murray McBride, to give her five wishes before she must leave.

They set out to check off as many wishes as possible, but when Jason's transplanted heart begins to fail, he must choose between his obligations to the past and his hope for a future.

Kindness and caring for others has no age or race boundaries.

This captivating story is a well written tale of how the kindness and determination of a 11 1/4 year old, who is befriended by a caring and kind citizen, teaches us all the power of kindness and friendship, no matter what the age or nationality.

A heart warming story

This is a heart warming story. I enjoyed learning what happened to Jason and how he fulfilled Murray's wishes.

My second review at the end of the book

The book is touching and speaks to several of my interests - medical dilemmas, global affairs, equality. I wanted to edit my review ie I’m not an author and not qualified to “critique” a writing style . I do still feel that some of both books is a bit unethical and unrealistic but overall great stories!

BMK

Revisiting the 5 wishes just made the new wishes better.

Jason's insights bring us full circle.

Love and friendship, selflessness, sacrifice, courage, resilience, hope, forgiveness

These two books in the Mr. Murray series are EXCELLENT!

AND REMEMBER!!!

SBK ~ Always be Strong, Brave, and Kind!

And, as an author, Joe Siple did an extraordinary job narrating. Most authors who narrator their own books aren't as prepared to share

Too political

Too political, first one was so much better. It is a shame. 10 year old wants to vote??? Carbon capture? Climate change?☹️

I couldn’t finish the book.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series but this one is boring and appears to take political jabs and falsely influence readers based on emotions and false narratives rather than logic and facts. I tried to finish it but I just couldn’t love the characters like I did in the first book. Mr. Murray McBride will always have my heart though.

Heartwarming story.

In a time when our country is being overrun with illegal immigrants, this story paints a beautiful picture of the other side of immigration and self sacrifice. Enjoyed it and would recommend it.
