Love every word. I was constantly hanging on to a break point so I could turn off. I could hardly wait till I drove home a night to listen. great book

Great Fiction and Great History Combined

This is an amazing selection of what is important to tell of the Pacific theater in WWII. It is not only gripping and well told, (and performed) but the editorial choice of what to tell of the much broader experience is genius. I loved every minute of it.

overall, a good listen

There were a few mind numbing sections, but overall, I'd recommend it. You really get a feel for the constant grind of the Pacific war for the Marines.
