Book 3 is awesome.

The narrator did a superb job with Granddad. Sakes Alive, it's is a good series. Can't wait to start the next book. My husband and I listen to a segment every night before bed. Great way to wind down for the night.

Wonderful story, reading, characters

Reader does an excellent job telling the story from the first person. Endearing story of young man and his relationship with his grandfather. Humorous at times, serious at others, but thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended, as is the whole series.

Another Britches book that we couldn't put down!

We have loved every book in the Little Britches series and we're sad that there's only 3 left. Also, Cameron Beierle is such an integral part of these stories - they wouldn't be the same without his voice.

Books for any century and any age

I've been reading and re-reading (or listening) to each of the books in Ralph Moody's "little britches" series for nearly 15 years... as a young married father I find there is just as much enjoyment in them as the first day my mother read them to us siblings... but where I never cease to be amazed is the wisdom to be gleaned for any age, a young, college age or fathers &a mothers ... Ralph's adventures are books I will never put down and read to my kids and grandkids

Best yet

This might be my favorite of Ralph Moody’s books thus far. And it was by FAR the best performance of Cameron Beierle that I’ve heard thus far. This was a sweet sweet book with a perfect ending and I just loved soaking it all in.
