Excellent

I have not read or listened to a Marguerite Henry book yet that I have not totally enjoyed. Brighty is such a cool donkey. Many lessons can be learned from Brighty.

Favorite of the Generations

This was a favorite of my childhood. It was made magical when combined with a trip to the Grand Canyon. The tradition continues, and it is now a favorite of my children.

One of my childhood favorites!

Brightly of the Grand Canyon was my one of my favorite books I read as a child, and have reread it more times than I can remember. I fell in love with little Brighty and donkeys because of this book, and have loved donkeys ever since! This book paints a beautiful picture of the Grand Canyon, and I long to visit there and walk on some of the same trails Brighty did long ago. If you love colorful characters in a beautifully written story for all ages, you will love this book.
