Publisher's summary

I kissed a hot fae guy to start a temporary mate bond between us, and now I'm pretending I haven't been seeing visions of our future together for the past year and a half.

At first, I didn't realize what I was seeing. Who would assume steamy dreams and brutal nightmares were what the future held?

But then my fake mate, who was the subject of said hot dreams, hauled me off to his house and told me I belonged to him.

That abduction just about set off the horrific future I've seen coming. Now, I have to figure out a way to stop this war before it happens, or we'll have much bigger problems than my temporary mate's possessive declaration that I'm his.

This is the second in a series of steamy connected standalones. Humor and happily ever after guaranteed!

Grrrrrrr!

Ok first off I really really love the world that was created to submerge myself in. I’ve read other series by other authors with the same concept of a low number of women compared to the extreme number of men. It adds to how special women are treated and how we all should be cherished. There seems to be a lot of confusion between the characters about rejection and the true meaning of matehood which was connecting on a deeper level.
The women who wished to be taken away from their old lives are resistant to their very enthusiastic male counter parts because of their insecurity issues. I guess most of us would be a little suspicious why men we considered, out of our league, would be so eager to show the rest of the world that the women are taken and they have intense possessive and protective natures. Personally I’d probably be thinking “what’s really going on here”.
North was my least favorite character only because she was so contradictory. It’s hard for me to connect with someone portraying the pissed at the world chick by slamming doors in people’s faces and generally treating others with so much distain then not getting why she she wasn’t being seen in a better light and feeling rejection. Her negative attitude towards everyone else frustrated me. She refused to show any affection towards the man who obviously wanted her and tried multiple times to show her how he wanted to take things further then felt rejected when he didn’t push past her walls then went and made out with a different man. Hmmmm. Yes she was tough and stood up when needed against those who thought they could be bullies. But by that point I already came to the conclusion that I didn’t really like her. Not that I wouldn’t try to be her friend in the long run but I don’t think my trust would be won right away. Shame really because she turned out to be the voice of the other women.
See I really got caught up in the story! The characters were believable and I was engrossed in the world. Great job Lola Glass!
Narration was very good!
