As a freelance accountant for the Agency, Fred soon finds himself being tossed into new, unexpected, and perilous situations. From inventorying ghostly castles, to exploring unsettling amusement parks, to negotiating with dangerous mages, it seems there is no end to the uses for an accountant of Fred’s specialty. But dangerous as the new jobs are, the greatest threat may come from the past. An old enemy is making waves once more, an enemy who would go to great lengths to destroy Fred and everyone he loves. And this time, they've brought backup.

Continuing to draw you in

With book 4, the series continues to draw the reader into the world and into the lives of the characters. Still great, and leaving you wanting more.

Great adaptation

If you've gotten to book 4, you know exactly what you're getting. The themes and characters are the same as previous books ''and that is not a bad thing.'' More than any particular story, I just enjoyed spending time with these characters again and getting to see where their lives were going.

Good series

This third book did not disappoint. The graphic audio feature was great! Read/ listen to the series in order.

Fun, but I'll stick with Kirby!

Since I still think the Fred books would make for a great TV show, I decided to give the Graphic Audio book a try. Overall, this was fun to listen to! The first section's music is so loud it's distracting but the rest of the time it was great. The cast has done a wonderful job bringing the story to life, and the transitions were so seamless that I didn't notice anything that was abridged.

I might recommend the Graphic Audio recordings to new listeners, but after hearing the fabulous Kirby Heyborne for seven books, I think I prefer him as the voice of Fred and company. I'll be sticking with his rendition in the future, but that's just personal preference!

Love the Graphic Audio cast! I’m going through this series so fast! Maybe there will be a TV series or movies one day!!!

Can’t get enough of this series! The characters are so much fun! The narrators are great!

Dramatized Adaptation Was Well Done

Fred the Vampire's story is creative, exciting, and funny. I still have four more books to go and I expect I will stay up late listening in anticipation of the next adventure. If you prefer listening to audio books without the background noises, then, listen to the version with Kirby Heyborne as the audio voice. He also does an excellent narrative.

Great narration!

Another really good entry. I think we had some of the biggest moments to date in the series. These moments give the series some direction for future books. I loved the full cast narration.
