Publisher's Summary

Robyn Carr is the number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Virgin River and Thunder Point series. Her novel Four Friends debuted at number five on the NYT. Wherever You Are is the third book in her best-selling Sullivan's Crossing series following What We Find and Any Day Now.

Dakota Jones is the second youngest of four children who had a difficult upbringing living with parents who struggle with mental illness. He escaped his family as soon as he could by joining the military. Now, after several tours of duty he has been discharged. He has nowhere to go and no solid plans for the future.

Refusing to return home to his parents he arrives in Sullivan's Crossing where his brother Cal and sister Sierra have each experienced the healing power of the place and its people. Nestled at the crossroads of the Colorado and Continental Divide Trails, the area attracts those looking for answers or direction or a new lease on life. Dakota will come to terms with his less-than-perfect family and will plant the roots he's never had.

Oh this book!!!! I NEVER cry at books and this one had me struggling. The surprise is that what I was emotional about wasn't even the main couple. What a Beautiful story! This family has stole my heart.
Dakota and Sid are another couple that were looking for something and they found it in each other. I loved that. What I am really enjoying about this series is that even though this is Dakota's book, it's only really half about him. We still get a complete story of what is going on with everyone else in the family and it's so perfect. Another book where Robyn Carr stole my heart with small town life!

As always the narration is PERFECT. Therese Plummer is my #1 favorite narrator. You would think that the Robyn Carr series would start to blend together since the narration is the same but for me it doesn't. That shows that she is amazing at her craft!

HOME RUN AGAIN!!!!!!!

If Audible only had Robyn Carr/Therese Plummer books, I'd still be a member! But since it has much, much more, it's a plus! I love the way Robyn Carr explores small towns with family and friends. I just wish the new releases would come faster. By the time a new one comes out, I've somewhat forgotten the past. With that being said, however, reflections of the past come very quickly into focus.

Therese Plummer is wonderful! I cannot say it enough! When she shows emotions, it will bring you to your knees. When she cries, you cry. I'm so in awe of her ability to move from a crying female to the voice of a consoling male. When I finished this book, I went straight into another Karen Slaughter "Will Trent" mystery and I had such a hard time adjusting to the background sound AND the voice of another narrator. Therese Plummer has TRULY spoiled me.

But yes, this book is definitely worth the credit!

Love the Jones family

This is the third installment of Sullivan's crossing and it dealt with both Dakota and Sedona Jones, the last two siblings. Sedona always seemed to be the most stable sibling and yet she had her own problems. Dakota was always kind of on the periphery, so it was nice to get to know him and Sid. I just love the Sullivan's crossing stories. Another great series from Robyn Carr.

Excellent!!!

This is definitely my favorite Robyn Carr series. I love the characters and their concerns. I applaud the compassionate portrayal of mental health issues. As always, themes of second chances and transformation abound. I especially appreciate that storylines from previous books are developed more thoroughly in subsequent books. I always want to hear more about characters I’ve grown attached to. And Therese Plummer continues to be an amazing narrator.

It was ok

The story was just ok and the ending was anticlimatic-but the narrator was excellent. For those of you who have trouble keeping up with a variety of storylines or want to read this out of sequence, I recommend you read a sample of the book from amazon first. I may eventually get the next book in the series, but I’m not in any hurry to do so.

A very contrived but timely group!

This family group was an unbelievable combination of people. ..But the messaging of how to handle each problem was 👍
