The blood-thirsty, epic Traitor Son Cycle comes to its gripping conclusion in this fifth and final book.

In the climax of the Traitor Son Cycle, the allied armies of the Wild and the Kingdoms of men and women must face Ash for control of the gates to the hermetical universe, and for control of their own destinies. But exhaustion, treachery and time may all prove deadlier enemies.

In Alba, Queen Desiderata struggles to rebuild her kingdom wrecked by a year of civil war, even as the Autumn battles are fought in the west. In the Terra Antica, The Red Knight attempts to force his unwilling allies to finish the Necromancer instead of each other.
But as the last battle nears, The Red Knight makes a horrifying discovery...all of this fighting may have happened before.

Miles Cameron’s Red Knight series was thoroughly well written, and his fifth and final entry in the series was masterfully done.

Incredible conclusion to wonderful series

Wrapped it up real nicely. A rarity for book series nowadays. I enjoyed all five books and can gladly recommend reading them, if anyone that’s looking at reviews for the final book HASN’T already read the first four looking at this that is. Or even if you have, this fifth one’s definitely worth reading. It’ll give you that closure and satisfaction you’re craving. A real solid book series all in all.

Solid Ending.

Cameron was able to easily pull together his multiple lines into this finale of epic proportion. Those that are looking for a story of transformational change from sell sword to something much more then this is the series for you.

Excellent end for the series

History develops well, sounding like it could stretch for 5 other books.

Packed full of action and nice scenes, it has to leave many open ended stories untold. This leaves one thinking of many "what ifs", which helps the narrative to persist in one's mind.

Great work on the entire series and, as expected, it had to come to an end. Definitely not perfect, but closing this series was a daunting task and it was very well executed!

Fitting ending

This series is just incredible. Some of the best fantasy books ever written. Each book is better than the last and the end is very satisfying.
