Story packs a punch

I’ve enjoyed getting to know these characters. Mrs. Kip especially. She is the wise grandmother I never had. Thank you for the faith-filled adventure.

Favorite book of the year

Hang in there past the character building to land inside an extraordinary story of someone who lived beautifully even to the end…

Incredible work

I am not a fiction reader by nature, but the title’s description caught my attention. I am in Kansas City, I was in the newspaper business, and in May of this year, I stayed with my grandmother in her home the final 10 days on hospice.

But most importantly, I was looking for a bible study-one from psalms or the gospels.

Mrs Kip was the example of Christ I was looking for. The life I am longing to live. And although several years her senior, the self-less-ness young Aida learns to value.

Thank you Sara for this book, and to the narrator who never missed a beat in her deflections and tones. Everyone needs this book.

Inspiring, Must Read

I purchased this book after seeing a review on Instagram. I immediately fell in love with Mrs. Kip and could not stop listening. May we all be more like Mrs. Kip and die 1,000 extraordinary deaths.

One Of The Best Books I Have Ever Read! Highly Recommend!

I did finish listening to this book through tears. I think this book was given to me to read just at the right time that I needed to hear it. If you need spiritual encouragement in a book or are looking for a Christian book with a different sort of happy ever after, I highly recommend this. I think it would be a good book for someone who is grieving as well.

The person who read the book also did a good job with the voices and she was easy to listen to.

A Deeply Heart-Felt Book

For anyone who has spent time with a loved one in a nursing home, this audiobook might take you to a very emotional corner of your heart. But, It is well worth the journey.

The narration, by another “Sara,” Sara Ferrrington, was performed at a world-class, flawlessly executed level.

not my norm but my new FAVE!

Im almost completely a murder, mystery, investigation book girl. Think Grisham, Peretti, Robb, Dekker, Coban, & Mary Higgins Clark being my 1st love of the genre.... But when I started a new Daily Devotional by the same name, based off this book... I had to check it out! Turned out Audible not only had the book but it was free! so something (Im betting the Holy Spirit) led me to stop my current listen & start this one.... I cant sayvenough good things about this book! I laughed out loud, even cried once! The main character, Mrs Kipp is one of the BEST fictional characters I've ever come across! There is no way to not love her!
I always start a book skeptical so as to not be disappointed. I was hooked in the first 10 min! The narrator was soo good, she nailed every different personality even when they only showed up once in the book.
This us sooo much more than a feel good book! I wanted to be there, and know these people! Especially Mrs Kipp!!
I'd give it 20/10 🌟 if I could!

A little over the top…

An interesting story, but a little too preachy for me. I made myself finish it, but it did seem to drag on for quite a while.
