More adventures with the Girls!

Most of the time, a series seems to get stale and continue for way too long. However, with Christopher Artinian's series, this is definitely not the case. In fact, this series and its companion "Safe Haven" just seem to get better and better!

Wren, Robyn, Mila and Wolf continue to fight the good fight against both the zombies and Olsen's army. Just when you think they are going to get a break, another problem raises up. And, isn't amazing that the very people you try to help sometimes turn against you?

I love the interaction between the two sisters and I especially enjoyed the opening look at the early days of their sisterhood. Mr. Artinian is able to mix snark and humor with the horrors of the zompoc in a very special way. Of course, there is plenty of action, blood and guts and tough decisions along the way. But, as Robyn says, "It's just another day at the office!".

The narrator, Kim Bretton, has done her usual fantastic job in bringing these characters to life. Her performance adds so much to an already amazing book and no matter how many times I have read the physical book, she makes it all seem like new! I can't imagine anyone else as the voice for this series and hope that her partnership with the author continues as long as he continues to publish more books.

I hope to be able to follow these wonderful characters for a long, long time. I have come to think of them as friends, not just characters in a book. That's how real they have become!

Stimulating Series!

I enjoyed book 12 of this series a lot. The characters continued to fascinate and move me as I listened to this audiobook. When I first heard about this series, I really wasn't sure whether it would hold my interest or not. I tried it as I was looking for something new, and many books later I'm still being entertained by the stories. Christopher Artinian's writing has captivated me since the first book and I'm looking forward to more of his stories. I recommend this series to others, even if zombie thrillers are not your particular cup of tea. Kim Bretton's narration was outstanding, and she kept my attention with her performance. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Spectacular

I so enjoyed the 12th installment of The End of Everything. The narrator does an excellent job as always. The story keeps you on your toes at all times. Just when you think the girls are out of trouble, something else happens. An intense and action packed story that you are sure to love.

Still going strong!

The End of Everything: Book 12 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is still going strong...I don’t think it’s ever going to falter. I sound like a broken record, yet I highly recommend this series if you enjoy zompocs, strong female leads, and fabulous writing and narration.

What’s it about? A flashback occurs in the prologue with Robyn and Wren’s family (loved this). From there, the ladies continue their quest to free others from Olsen’s hold. There is a lot of action, along with humor, friendships, fighting for what’s right/to live, some crazies, and so on. I love they’ve taken to some of Mike’s tactics- nice way to tie in the two stories (another series you should read if you love zompocs). Kim, yes yes yes to the narration! Great tone, emphasis, and voices for the characters.

Not going to say much more as it will give spoilers away, so listen/read the book or start the series from the beginning if you are new to it. You won’t be disappointed.

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: It’s the zombie apocalypse- bad people, horrible situations you would hope to never find yourself in…death, killing, kidnapping, weapons, etc. In the prologue, the sisters discuss difficulties at school (Wren not having friends/fitting in). Language used: Fx3, Sx42,

Oh Kim - thank you for bringing this book to life! I loved the Prologue of “Then” getting to know Robyn and Wren’s parents a bit more - their dad was hilarious! (Kim’s impersonation of him doing the mafia men was hilarious.)
Then the action started and didn’t stop!!!
Since I had already read the book - there were points I was like oh goody! And other parts where I was just as scared they weren’t going to make it!
Especially since losing a few other favorite characters I’m always a bit nervous.
The calm of Mila, Robyn and Wren as they forget the fear and inspire others to act was so powerful.
Don’t forget the cheeky snarking for laughs and we have a whole load of an amazing book and audiobook!

Thank you Chris for keeping it so full of the tension and a few jokes to keep the mood elevated and all the reminders that we can do anything if we just act with strength, courage and kindness!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable as per usual

Kim's narration was spot on as always. I just love her take on Mila. I could not step away from this one. I usually clean, go on walks, and numerous other things while I listen, however this was so action packed I found myself stopping whatever I was doing to pay attention. Yet another great book from the writing machine that is Christopher Artinian. Can't wait for the next!

End of Everything Book 12 is by far the best book in the entire series yet! How do they keep getting better and better! Love this series, author and narrator. I highly recommend this book and this series.
