Great overview of the subject

Perfect for talking points and broad understanding of emotional intelligence and leadership styles and utilizing self awareness and maturity.

Small but mighty!

This was a quick audiobook to get through and something good to put on even if you’re in the middle of working. I think this book will help you understand where you land on emotional intelligence. I think this is definitely a good listen for upcoming leaders or individual contributors who are aspiring to be leaders one day. I can personally say that it helped me understand my own management style in regards to emotional intelligence, and I feel pretty good about where I am. ultimately the biggest lesson is that there are multiple styles each of them have their own pros and cons however, it’s really just important that you as a leader and just as a person in general are very self-aware of how you interact with people in life and in your professional environment. It also brought a good point that just because a particular style that you use works with one person doesn’t mean it’s gonna work with someone else so you have to be readily able to pivot your style when needed. It definitely recommends this audiobook.

Great Concepts

As common sense as the concepts may seem, if not paying attention to them and actively working on improving, you aren't doing your subordinates and yourself justice. Take notes!
