Publisher's Summary

Veronica McAllister died in 2018.

She immediately opened her eyes again in 1958, all memories of her previous life intact.

She goes from old age, pants suits, and a cane, to poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and Buddy Holly.

At the end of her first life, Veronica said she “wasn’t any good at life.” With the most precious of gifts - perspective and a second chance - can she succeed where she failed during her first life?

What would you do, if you could do it all again?

Fantastic Series

These books are very entertaining. I love how the author brings back some of the past characters and keeps the time period jump in a good, relatable frame of reference. I can't wait for more to come because I intend to buy and listen to them all! I love losing myself in Inmon's characters' lives.

The narrators have all been different, yet each one handled their story equally well.

Outstanding <br />

The character was so believable and really resonated with me. It was a very good story and had some surprises.
I wish Veronica had been more curious about her situation and her ability to affect change. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series, this was my first one.

What choices would you make with another chance at life?

I’ve dipped into this series - not in order - and I loved this as much as the first one. The performance was so moving in places I teared up along with Veronica. Loved it.

Awesome

I loved the first three books in this series. But in my opinion the fourth book was very disappointing, sad and ridiculous. The author sing sang the whole book. It took me awhile to decide to buy the fifth book. I finally did and am so glad that I did. I can’t pick a favorite from books 1,2,3 or 5!

Another winner

This one felt a bit different, but it was nice to get a woman's point of view of this author's time travel concept. It is less time travel, than reincarnation. I was searching for time travel fiction when I found this series. However, if you like time travel, this one will satisfy.

Loved this book!

I have enjoyed all the Middle Falls Time Travel books but The Emancipation of Veronica McCallister has been my favorite so far.

There isn’t one thing specifically that I loved either, it was the whole package. No spoilers though, so just know that Veronica is someone you can relate to and love as she tries to get it right. You’ll cry for her failures and cheer for her successes.

getting it right

Inmon does it again with an intriguing twisted tale of one woman's history through a series of frustrating lives illustrated by the events of the baby boomers' lifespan.

My absolute favorite so far!!

I stumbled on the first book in this series a few months ago and have read every one in order (up through this one) and I have to say this is my new favorite! I really had trouble putting it down for long, eager to get back to Veronica’s story. It was beautifully written and made me laugh, cry, and even gave me goosebumps a few times. The voice performance was also fantastic. Can’t wait to start the next book in the series. These can’t come out on audiobook fast enough!

I don’t think I could ever get tired of this series

I love these books so much! It never fails that at the end of each book I cry, mostly because you feel so invested in these characters as you have lived through so many lives with them. If Mr. Inmon never stops writing them then I will never stop reading them. If you are a fan of time travel and you haven’t read this series you are definitely missing out!
