Critic Reviews

"Reality TV meets dystopian fairy tale in Kiera Cass's delightful debut. Charming, captivating, and filled with just the right amount of swoon!" (Kiersten White, New York Times bestselling author of Paranormalcy)

Please give America a brain

Someone help this poor woman! She’s clearly suffering from dementia as she can’t remember which man she is in love with for more than a day. This pressing topic, along with soul-searching questions such as what is Halloween? and her stint on The Apprentice (where she has to organise a party - win or be fired!) concerns her a lot more than the horrendous inequity of the kingdom she could rule, how they starve whilst she lives in luxury, and the amazing chance she has to change it all…
It’s so bad but if you need a zero brain cell read it’s actually quite good!

I love this!

Wow! This story is very relaxing to listen to! It’s not hard to follow and it’s a very good sequel to the Selection, it makes you want to listen to the third one. Sometimes it sounded a little robotic and the tone of her voice stayed the same or very similar for different emotions. She did do the voices very well and they were all unique and i loved that about this book!

I loved the second book in the series and found it very difficult to put down. I loved reading as the story continued and the love triangle continued. I loved reading about when America was with Maxon and found myself wanting to see what would happen when they next meet and how they would get past the next obstacle. I did at times find America was a bit annoying as she seemed to keep dragging them both along a bit too much. However it was a great book cannot wait to continue in the series and find out what happens. Xxx

molto bello..la narratrice è molto brava anche se avrei preferito un po' più di interpretazione nei momenti drammatici.. a parte questo , molto bello...
