Emotional Rollercoaster

This was a spectacular story. Great contrast to the 1st book. Relevant messaging despite being written over 3 decades ago.

Slow and didn't make me crave the next chapter.

I struggled to finish. It didn't draw me back, I had to force myself to start listening. Once I would start listening I liked it but after an hour I was bored. The narrator doesn't have a easy to listen to voice. The ending was kinda stupid but whatever.

Excellent adventure!

I read this book when I was a kid, and loved it then! I liked it better than the Sword of Shannara. This reading by Scott Brick was just as good as I remember this book, I just had to listen every chance I could. Well read, typical Terry Brooks stock.

Another Great Fantasy Tale, Woven By Terry Brooks

This standalone sequel to the wonderful epic, known as "The Sword Of Shannara," is equally wondrous as well as fantastical.

When sequels are better than the original.

Very well worth the listen. It has a somewhat Tolkienesque formula, without the overtly in depth history lesson. Don't get me wrong, I love the Lord of the Rings series, but I like to enjoy a lighter side of fantasy with a hint of romantic intrigue as well, which this book seems to do well.

Above Excellent

Terry Brooks did it again. Although you know how it will turn out, it’s hearing the journey and trials that will get them there that truly makes you want to listen to it.

Masterfully done

Wonderful story from start to finish. Beautifully read, with colorful characters. I would definitely recommend The Elfstones of Shannara.
