So good of a trilogy

I enjoyed the first and third books the best the main character in the second book had a little bit of Nancy drew disease (prefect all the time) but I still loved these books very good to read after. Narnia same cadence of the last battle

Great trilogy

It started as if the writer was inexperienced. By the third book, I was completely drawn into the story. I really enjoyed it.

Enjoyable Read for the Most Part

If you can get by the several credulity stretches, like a fourteen year old, non athletic boy learning sword skills so that he can defeated a trained adult warrior in a week's time, you will probably enjoy the read. I certainly didn't regret spending the credit and getting all three books for that credit was a big bonus.

There were moments where I was really moved on a spiritual level and I found most of the characters appealing, if not entirely believable, I was disappointed that Dave Cruse was not narrating this one. I listened to The Myridian Constellation first and found his narration to be excellent. The author did a decent job of it. Some of his characterizations were very bombastic and I firmly believe that no one born above the Mason/Dixon line should every attempt a southern accent. They never get it right and invariably over do it.

I really enjoyed his diverse characters and spiritual parallels. I have never seen someone do such a good job in displaying spiritual warfare!!!! This is great series for older children and even adults.

unexpected favorite

This book addresses some of the hard realities of the Christian life. it is a great allegory. I wish I had read it sooner.
