A very disappointing melange of fantasy, international politics sex and violence.

Even Greg Patmore's wonderful narration style could not help me enjoy this book.
The characters in the book seem very hollow and poorly drawn. The dramatic events are described with far too much repetitive purple prose and the historic, archaic background mythology does not really fit well with the, current state of affairs in the story. Sadly this book was a really disappointing read.
