Conflicts were introduced but not meaningful developed.

The novel set up several promising conflicts that suggested a coming turning point. The narrative remained the same emotional and plot intensity from the beginning to the end, without a clear rise to a decisive moment.

Probably the worst DS book yet…

Next to zero ‘story’… kind of a bizarre book if I’m being honest. Just went no where for hours and then it’s over and you’re left with a book title that never really made sense. Disappointed for sure but I’ve given up hope that DS will ever return to writing books with substance.

The story wasn’t good and dragged. Very boring even award at times. I fast forward a lot and almost didn’t finish
