What made the experience of listening to Betrayal the most enjoyable?

It was one of Danielle Steels better books.

Tallie

What does Renee Raudman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Brought the characters to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The performance was good and this made it hard to put down.

The story kept my interest but was slightly unbelievable. I did enjoy the book, I have read or listened to most of Danielle Steels books.

Painful to listen to

The story sounds good but by chapter one you could guess who the villains would be. The main character has amassed prestige from her work ethic yet she can not see the villains! The narrator is simply reading not acting at all! I listened at 125 for the speed and still she drummed on in a monotone! The details of the betrayal is said over 20 times by chapter 20..yup I counted! So much sadness...if you are depressed don’t read this..some characters have nothing to do with the plot...yet they have so many details about their lives woven into the story! Lord goodness ....don’t do it man..don’t read it! Go listen to all the books narrated by Dan john Miller for danielle steel and you will see the difference! Dude i hear that monotone in my sleep now! Help!!!!

I could not get enough .. was sad when it was over

Would you consider the audio edition of Betrayal to be better than the print version?

I never read it .. I just enjoy going about my business and reading a book at the same time or listening I should say .

Everything it just blended so well

Which scene was your favorite?

When Talli and Jim got married both so deserving, However, there were other chapters that intrigued me .

If you could rename Betrayal, what would you call it?

I would not change the Title at all very fitting .

I have always enjoyed the writings of Danielle Steel and love her TV movies as well. Time for another mini series =)

loved this book. i couldn't stop listening. it is a must read. a few twist i didn't expect, made my mouth drop. very exciting.

Predictable but still entertaining

Would you try another book from Danielle Steel and/or Renee Raudman?

I have listened to many of Danielle Steel's books. They need to use better narration and consider having both a female and male read the parts.

What aspect of Renee Raudman’s performance would you have changed?

Her male characters were weak at best.

Do you think Betrayal needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No it would be too predictable.

Good book. Yes some you could tell what was coming. But as always, Danielle Steel is the best at what she does...

Wonderful Novel!

Danielle Steel never disappoints. enjoyed the book so much, though it was a bit predictable. Still. it was cleverly written, well-researched, and an enjoyable listen!
