great start to a continuation of the warded man

I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. it started off a little shaky but hit it's stride soon, the graphic audio cast did a fantastic job.

It's not great, but not bad either.

It's not a bad story, but it's a story set 15 years after the Demon Cycle series. It's pretty difficult to follow that storyline and to also create a world that had been at peace long enough to begin to forget war as well as to show both the technological, economical, and sociological advancements of that that world. It could've been better, but it was entertaining enough to justify buying the audiobook

I honestly cant

performance is great, writing is amazing. this just isn't the story for me, if you're looking for LGBT fantasy this is for you

Over production makes it harder to understand.

The music laid over the audio is too repetitious. Also the narration is awkwardly slow, (Audiobook publishers do this all the time so the book's hour length looks more impressive. Like upping font size weirdly big for more pages.) The standard fix is to turn up the playback speed but that makes the music and gratuitous effects sound extra weird and difficult to listen past.
