The premise for this book sounded interesting but the story really dragged on and on. The author spend too much time on this journey in my opinion. The explicit details were more gross than titillating.

Caught Me Off Guard
I want sure about it starting off, but by the 3rd chapter I was in! The story line was unexpected. The 3 characters complemented each other well. Surprising relationships, surprising events and a surprising end! iam thinking on reading thr second boom.

Mixed flow of story
I felt the story started slow. I will admit this wasn't my normal genre. But then from about the 40% to 95% point I got into it and liked the story. However, the end felt abrupt and incomplete. I really don't have a feel for what happened. Even went back and registered to last chapter, still was confused.
The story teller was compelling. I've listened to Skyler Morgan in other genres and enjoyed the work, so I looked forward to this one.
