good but too short.

This collection includes several interesting short stories but I wish there had been more. One story is about Declan's face off with the NY pack after he interrogated a member about why so many wares were challenging Stacia. In the Summer book, Declan had discovered a witchy plot to eliminate Stacia by making her pack turn against her. The NY alpha was angry that Declan had gotten involved in pack business and in this short story, they call a meeting to hash it out with Declan.
Another tale is about Chris's god daughter babysitting for the twins while he and Tanya go to an event. It was kind of dumb.
The last story is the best and is from Tanya's POV. Its about the demidova team heading to FL to check out a portal to faerie in connection with an increase in Demonic possessions. Its far too brief and I didn't care for Tanya's constant questioning about Omega:s power and Declan's mental state. She isn't much older than him and is a friggin princess of all the darken in the world plus runs a major worldwide organization with emmense wealth, power and pull besides being a unstoppable supernatural force herself and married to the God Hammer. Oh, and btw, she is a vampire, a preditor by nature, dependant on human blood to survive, but we aren't questioning her motives. its annoying.

Compendium 2

Adds lots of insights to some of the stories in the Demon Accords books. Answers a few questions of things said that sometimes doesn't make sense. But these two Compendiums really help the whole of the Demon Accords. Id Recommend you get them if you're a fan of this series like me.

Liked it alot, not ready to boast that I love it.

It is fairly short. It introduces some new characters, and I'm not really sure if they will play a part in things going forward. I always enjoy the books in this series, some books more than others. Narrator is always solid.

Dissapointed By New York Pack Change in Character

I've really enjoyed this series so far! The stories are fun and well thought out for the most part. I also appreciate that the author minimizes the sexual content and doesn't explicitly describe anything (I would prefer if there wasn't any sexual content at all, but that's not real life). My biggest frustration with this book was the large change in character of the New York Pack. In all of the prior books the New York Pack Alphas (Brock and Aphina - spelling?) are both described in positive ways for their strength, kindness, and intelligence. Sure, they are aggressive alphas, but they never seemed to let their aggressiveness overshadow their intelligence. However, in this book it seemed that changed drastically. The alphas basically lure Declan and Stacia out to the middle of no-where to hopefully limit Declan's power, and try to make him back down in front of a large portion of their pack (which obviously doesn't work for a number of reasons - the primary reason is Declan isn't mature enough to let himself lose face for Stacia benefit). However, based on prior books, I don't think Brock and Aphina would be stupid enough to handle things this way. From prior books we know that Brock knows that Declan had a part in omega and fixing their serious computer problems (Anvil). An intelligent businessman wouldn't ever try to make an information securtiy expert/hacker with access to omega angry. It just doesn't make sense. Also, Aphina is always shown as being kind and intelligent and more of a mentor to Stacia in prior books. I can't believe she would be uninformed when it came to Declan's abilities. Lastly, both Brock and Aphina know that Declan and Stacia are good friends with Chris and Tonya. They would know that if they seriously injured or killed Declan or Stacia that Chris and Tonya would get involved. And since both Brock and Aphina are business partners and friends with Chris and Tonya they wouldn't want to risk alienating Demidova Corp. Most importantly, Brock and Aphina saw Chris killed three powerful werewolves in a couple of seconds, they know he had a large part in destroying Loki's Spawn, and it was stated that they were afraid of him in a fight. They would never want to take the risk of making Chris an enemy. Honestly, this whole story seemed like a lazy way of getting Declan and Stacia to start their own pack at the cost of some great secondary characters who are clearly smarter then they were portrayed. It would be a shame if these great/intellegent characters' final appearance in the series was this story.

Hey it is a compendium, adarn good one.

I now own every Audible book in the Demon Accords and the two Compendiums.
This series is interesting in every Audible book released. Each of course broadening the saga leaving the listener and or reader wanting more.
The narration James Cronin does, is very well done. It is my opinion that by keeping with the same narrator, helps greatly with the continuity of the series.
Personally I'm in favor of dual narration male and female respectively. Then again those are just my thoughts.

What next?

I have virtually inhaled this entire series and loved all of it. Unfortunately I’m now going to suffer withdrawals. While I enjoy all the key players I have occasionally wished there was more on the peripheral ones, particularly Mac and Jenna and others, who’s stories have increasingly felt like a tease because just as we get a bit more detail they’re left behind.

I see that Conroe has moved on to a new series which is coming out soon which I REALLY hope this doesn’t mean he’s bored of the Demon Accords and has decided to move on. I’m definitely not bored of it yet ...
