Swoon worthy performance

This story kept me captivated the whole time. Besides the romance I really enjoyed the outside elements, problems, and found family aspect for both main characters.

The narration was perfection. I’ve listened to a lot of Samantha Brentmoor’s books and I was pleasantly surprised at her skill to flawlessly fall in to a British accent. Both narrators gave top tier performances!

Highly recommend this audiobook.

Wow! An incredible listen!

I love Samantha Brentmoor with a fiery passion. She brings a sassy heroine to life in the best way. I am new to James Cavenaugh, but I was absolutely blown away! His accents were flawless, his tone was on point, and he brought the exact amount of emotion to every word. I am now a forever fan!

Ana Huang brought her A-Game with this one. The story was tense and the payoff was incredible.

Loved Everything About The Defender

The suspense plot was so good! Vincent and Brooklyn were fantastic characters! They were well developed, empathetic, and with flaws that made them feel real. Their romance was perfect! There was enough emotional depth and spice. I loved how the third act conflict had played out. As I was reading The Defender, I didn’t feel the length. I loved every moment in this book!

Ana does it again! Vincent is the charming golden retriever MMC we love to root for & Brooklyn is a sharp tongued people pleaser with a heart of gold! The way these two banter will have you kicking your feet & their slow burn is pure bliss. The story gives you tension, suspense and a little mystery. With multiple family themes explored it gives all the feels and we love that.
