WHAT THRILLING COCKTAIL.. IT BLEW MY MIND

Wow, what a unique, edgy and compelling journey.. the characters suck you in and the storyline explodes into a suspenseful, tension-filled and emotionally complex rollercoaster. This is not a heroine in a plain ‘either or’ situation whose torn between two brothers story. Skyla first meets kind, caring, drool-worthy Jensen first and, for ten days, they have a blissful relationship but the sexy Marine gets deployed to Afghanistan for six months and, selflessly, doesn’t want Skyla to have to put her life on hold so he ends things. Fast-forward three months and Skyla meets Trent.. a wonderful, caring, sexy, understanding Marine.. but Skyla would later learn he’s Jensen’s brother. She’s had to move on from Jensen and, for three years, Trent has been hers. Trent and Jensen are best buds but Trent is unaware of their secret past history.. it’s an emotional powder keg waiting to blow.

Worth a credit? Skilfully weaved, masterfully crafted and awesomely narrated from three different POVs by A list narrators who turn a great Book into an unforgettable listen. Your heart warms, jumps, hardens, softens, shatters, gets shredded and pounds so fast you consider dialling 911. It breaks with the shocking twisted brutality, the betrayals and the desperate anguish and it eventually slows to a normal beat and melts with all the swoony feels in this epically emotional story of love and hate. The great narration.. the brilliant and uniquely different edge-of-your-seat storyline.. the strong heroine, the worthy heroes and the swoons, tears, twists, conflicts and deep love definitely make this an unforgettable, and yes creditworthy, listen.

Oh Holy... WOW!!!

I can't find the words to express my feelings for this book or even the words to describe this book. The only word that comes to mind is, "Wow".

Having gone into this book completely blind I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I thought I was going to get a sweet romance about a girl who was having a hard time choosing between brothers... Oh no. I got the opposite and in a delicious way. It's a story about a dangerous serum and a love triangle that leads to loss and betrayal.

Don't let the idea of an emotional rollercoaster scare you away from this one. It is worth all the emotions.

Audio Review: I listened to this one and let me tell you, the performances of Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and Kylie Stewart added another edge and more emotions than if you were to read it yourself. Aaron and Kylie were fantastic on this audio. I could go on and on about these two. But Jason... oh boy. This has to be his best audiobook to date. It is definitely a favorite of mine by him, Aaron, and Kylie. 100% recommend this audiobook.
