Eli embraces the adventure as Drake pushes him out of his comfort zone, but as these two grow closer, it becomes harder for Drake to hide who he is. Can Eli accept a man with a soul of a dragon?

The Daredevil is a missed connection, opposites attract, paranormal MM romance with light exhibitionism. It is part of the Black Cat Circus multi-author series that features found family and a magical cast of characters. Each book can be listened to as a standalone but is better enjoyed as a series.

Love these boys!!

I loved this book when I read it, and Zachary did an amazing job of bringing these darling boys to life! The circus, the romance, the spice! This book has something for everyone: magic, love, found family, and a very sexy Ferris wheel 🤣 welcome to the BCC!

great narration

Eli, a very sweet photographer of the local paper. He received an assignment to cover the BCC circuit that was in town. Drake, the daredevil of the circus. Drake has reservations returning to his hometown. That he left 10 years ago to find BCC.

I listened to the audio book narrated by Zachary Zaba. Not only did I love this story, but I loved the narration. Zachary narrated all the characters and did a fantastic job.

This is my 2nd in this series. I look forward to other stories.

So so good

The Daredevil is the first book in the multi author paranormal series Black Cat Circus and what a great start it is. This is Eli and Drakes story. Eli is a journalist who would rather live behind his camera and story. Drake is the Daredevil of the Black Cat Circus. These two make me just love them. I loved the heat and low angst of this book. Duckie Mack has a way with portraying characters that I love. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down and hated to see it end. Duckie Mack is an amazing author and I look forward to whatever she writes next. If you get the audio narration, Zachary Zana does a wonderful job of narrating this book. He makes the change in characters seamlessly. I can't wait to listen to the next book he narrates. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Giving BCC characters a voice!

I've had the privilege of reading The Daredevil and all of the Black Cat Circus stories via e-book well before this audiobook's release and this gave me the initial framework of the story and each of the characters involved.
I loved reading The Daredevil, and I was excited to get the chance to listen to the words Duckie Mack wrote brought to life by the narrator, Zachary Zaba. I'll admit that at times, the voice he used for Drake was a bit odd, but only because the voice sounded just outside Zachary's normal register. The voice he provided for Eli was perfect; it was soft, tentative but strong. The flow between the characters and their voices was very smooth, and there were no issues with understanding who was talking, or whose POV I was currently listening to.
I loved the audiobook, and can happily recommend it to any who love the Black Cat Circus, or simply those who love 'light' paranormal stories. I look forward to the remaining stories in the series to be released via audiobook.

The Narration is on point!! 🔥🔥🔥

Performance: Zachary Zaba just made me swoon through the entire story. I don’t think anyone else could have narrated Drake and Eli like he did. His voice is absolutely yummy!!

Story: Wildly romantic! These were the two words I managed to put together to describe The Daredevil to a book chat group WHILE I was still reading it. I also said that even though I felt bad with a headache, I had a HUGE smile on my face. These were the feelings I was putting together just while reading the book. Even now, I can’t quite put into words all I feel about this book. For me Duckie Mack is usually a slow burn, romantic, steamy feel. The Daredevil felt fast like a motorcycle ride through the highways around metro DC in the evening. It felt hot and spicy, but romantic like that old country song by Shenandoah I want to be loved like that.
