Almost

While the book was nearly a five-star experience, I felt that forgiveness was extended rather quickly at the end. I would have preferred a more extended display of remorse (begging and groveling). The sense of betrayal was profound. This book reminded me of "The Shattered Bones" but with friends. The "friends" had a similar feel to the Quest Squad from Onyx Storm, though not as humorous. Groveling and well placed humor would have made this book 5 stars.
