The Complex

hilarious!

a laugh filled riot. i was pleasantly surprised. not used to humor from this author. it was reminiscent of the dark irony of Bentley Hill

My favorite thing about Keene is that his stories tie together, but each book can stand on its own. I liked this fast paced, no explanation, no apology type of story. Although the animal parts were heartbreaking.
Chet Williamson is great as narrator, as always.

Yep, that was a horror story.

I enjoyed it well enough. Fast, nasty, and fun. It is decent for a shorter story. It didn't give explanations, but it also didn't promise to or owe us. I liked about half the characters and thought the rest fairly cookie cutter. Worth the read.
