Artificial intelligence is everywhere now, so seeing it included in a beginner guide was a huge plus for me. It makes the basic lessons feel much more relevant when you can see how they apply to the future of technology. I loved that the focus stayed on usefulness and practical skills rather than just listing off rules that are hard to remember. It really feels like a modern tool for anyone wanting to get a head start in tech.

This audiobook is a really approachable introduction to Python and ideal for anyone who has felt overwhelmed by coding before. What I liked most is that it does not assume you already understand technical language. Everything is explained in a clear, steady way, which makes it much easier to follow as a complete beginner.

The hands-on style is a big strength. Instead of just listening to theory, you are guided through exercises and practical projects that help the lessons actually sink in. The real-world examples, such as building simple tools and learning how programs work step by step, make Python feel far less intimidating.

It is especially useful for students, career changers, or anyone who wants to learn a new skill without being buried in jargon. The pacing feels manageable, and the “10 minutes a day” approach makes it realistic for busy people.

Overall, this is a friendly, confidence-building audiobook for beginners who want to learn Python properly without feeling lost. A great starting point for anyone taking their first steps into coding.

Thank you to the author, Caden Pennor, for the Functions and Modules chapter. Knowing that “programs must be written to be read by humans” was a really interesting viewpoint that I guess I just completely skipped over in the past, but it makes so much sense. I really liked how the author provides exercises and examples and adds them to the accompanying PDF—this makes this title a fantastic study resource that can be utilized time and time again. I loved how the author simply describes how to use functions and write them to break down management steps easily and efficiently.

Learning coding can open doors to creativity, freelancing, automation, and long-term career growth. Beyond just writing code, programming gives the ability to build ideas into real projects, solve problems more efficiently, and create tools that make work easier. It also creates opportunities to work remotely, take freelance projects, or explore careers in technology that continue to grow every year. What makes coding powerful is that it is not just a technical skill, it’s a skill that can expand both your creativity and your future opportunities.

I'll be honest I didn't think an audiobook about coding would work but fair play to the author for pulling it off. I'd suggest having the supplied PDF open and then listening along while you read through it, pause, do the exercise and repeat. Very helpful for getting back up to speed with Python after a few years of not using it
