3 Great Stories in One Offering!

All I wanted was a friggin burrito.

My name is Brandon Ferryman. I went out one night to get a burrito. Who knew that such a simple thing would change my life, or end it?

I woke up on the side of the road with some pumpkin-headed monster saying he was the god of death, fate, and justice. I was chosen to run a very special establishment. A place that lay between worlds. A place called the Coffin Hotel.

Now I have to fight monsters, free spirits, and run a mystical hotel. I'm clearly not qualified, but when has that ever stopped anyone from doing anything.

This is my journey of gaining power, fighting injustice, making sure the guests are comfortable, and trying to not lose my head.

The Coffin Hotel is an urban fantasy adventure with action, humor, angels, witches, undead, demons with Karen haircuts, tentacle nerds, over-the-top situations, and burritos!

Should be a movie!

This would be an awesome animated movie!
Dude dies and then gets put in as a hotel manager in purgatory and the clientele is out of those world.
And so is the help.
I'm sure I will be reading/listening to this again and again.
I have the books individually, as well and I know I've listened to the first book at least 3 times. So I had to get them all together for only a credit.
This story is so much fun. And there's burritos 🌯
I give this series/book 9 out of 5 stars.

Very Good

Hats off to the entire team. The story is outstanding. Some of the best word play I've seen to tell an original tale. The narration was top notch. I love it when the author tells us that 3 or more people say the same thing at the same time and the narration delivers the author's intentions. The narrators truly understood the assignment. Great purchase.

Amazing!

I chose to listen to this in October for some supernatural fun. It was a great choice, so much fun, exciting, and sensual just what I was looking for in the month of Halloween.

Fun book

I enjoyed the book. The humor was great and the sexy was better than the typical non-stop sex scenes. I will be looking for more books from this author.

It was amazing

This series took me for a wild ride. Worth the 1 credit. The MC is really silly. You get a Bruce Cambell vibe. You can tell the writer had fun writing this. There are a lot of spicy innuendos and back and forth but I think the chase was worth it. The performance was great. I had a great time with this definitely should be on a list to have.

interesting but flawed

These books are an interesting mix. there are parts of them that are very well written there are scenes that are very evocative but the author has a tendency to over commit to bits that just aren't landing. and some of the language used in scenes just becomes jarring like just using "snu snu" during scenes that are meant to be hot. or comparing people's body parts to children on a playground. the overarching plot isn't particularly good or bad in the base idea for the stories is actually pretty good. the cast aside from the main character is fairly interesting if summarized but don't really have a lot of details going on behind the scenes. it's definitely interesting enough to finish the first book, but it's really hard to get attached to any characters or any stakes. the female performances are good, and the male performer is good but it's hard to like the male lead that he is portraying. they're just isn't enough to the main character to care about them.
