Publisher's summary

Edward "Egg" Garrison thought the field trip to the caverns would be a great place to take pictures. It turns out it's the perfect place for a mystery!

Another great Field Trip Mystery

This is another great detective story delivered in the guise of another field trip for Egg and his friends. Indeed, the fact that they always seem to end up solving some sort of case while on field trips is even mentioned in the story.

If you've read or listened to other stories in the Field Trip Mysteries series, then you'll know what to expect. If you haven't, these are fun detective stories that center on 4 friends - Egg, Sam, Cat, and Gum - who always seem to find mysteries to solve on field trips. Other characters who show up regularly are their teacher, who is constantly calling the students by the wrong name, and another student who always seems to be causing trouble.

As with the other stories in this series, this one is fun, with several little clues being dropped throughout the story. The narrator, still anonymous, gives another wonderful performance. I wish I knew who the narrator was so I could look up other books he's read.

This is a great series for young readers who love mysteries, and the audiobooks are great for those who prefer to listen to books or for families who want to experience the stories together.
