Highly recommended!

So far this may be my favorite in the series! Money-hungry developers want to develop a rural area, which will change the village forever. When a body is found on the property, Inspector Graham has problems to solve in both his professional and personal life. Excellent storytelling gives life to a plot which is nice and twisty and characters who are well-developed and believable. Highly recommended! I’m eagerly awaiting the next book. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

A Distracted, Detective Inspector

I enjoyed this story a lot. I was entertained by the complexity of the mystery, and it was made more complicated by Inspector David Graham's distraction over issues in his personal life. This story really showcased how much a part of the community Inspector Graham has become. I was entertained by Matt Jamie's narration as his performance brought the story to life. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Outstanding police procedural series

I said from the first book one through three that this is a very good police procedural series. It has everything you would want in a clean family friendly book, good mystery, great characters, no swearing, just entertainment.

Matt Jamie narrates -- need I say more?

Inspector Graham has to be my absolute favorite Cozy Detective, and I could listen to Matt Jamie’s narration for days! But it won’t take you nearly that long to listen to this latest installment in Alison Golden’s Inspector Graham series. Once you begin you won’t want to 'put it down'.

I always hate to see a favorite character depart from a series, but the pain of separation is lessened when their replacement is fresh, multifaceted and completely different in back-story and focus. Alison Golden is peerless in her ability to accomplish this feat as her characters and story lines grow and develop, and this talent is yet again demonstrated in her latest cozy mystery.

In “The Case of Castle Meadow” you will find plenty of viable suspects, bad guys to deplore and heroes to adore – with some cute new little characters that bring out a previously unseen side to our normally all-business Jersey Constabulary team members. Pssst…an exciting surprise in the Epilogue!
