Great Audible!

I loved listening to this book. I am a fan of suspense/romance and Julie Coulter Bellon did not disappoint with The Captain:Griffin Force, Book 2. The narrator also captured the different characters well.

Action packed!

I enjoyed this book a lot! It was so action packed with twist at every turn. The narrator did such a great job with the characters and the emotion of the story. Excited for the next one!!

Action packed with a touch of romance

I will not summarize this story because it was already given in the description of this book. The purpose of this review was to give potential readers information to make an informed decision about reading/listening to this book.


What I enjoyed in this story:

• I liked Colt Mitchell. He was truly a good guy, which he demonstrated through his professionalism, concern for others, and determination.
• Brenna is a strong character. She is determined to be professional, strong, and in charge. She has a big heart.
• The romance between Colt and Brenna was believable. They had known each other in the past.
• The Griffin force was a special forces group specializing in eliminating terrorists.
• There were many twists and turns to the plot. Lots of suspense, excitement, and action.
• There were many secondary players in this novel. They were varied, well developed, and interesting. They added depth to the storyline.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done, easy to visualize, and to feel. I felt a part of the scenes.
• The pacing of this story was good. It was neither too fast nor too slow.
• There was a smooth, coherent flow to this book. The author was a great writer.
• This was a clean read and I appreciated that.
• The narrator did an excellent job in differentiating the various characters' voices. His accents were amazing. He had a pleasant voice to listen to.

I was given a free audiobook by the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I will be listening to or reading more books by this author. I will also keep a lookout for books narrated by Tristan Wright.

Adore this series

I love reading through the suspense and excitement in this book. I love this series and also love that each book can stand alone.

Loved this story!!

This is a fantastic military romance full of action, suspense, & love. Julie Coulter Bellon writes yet another thrilling military romance. Tristan Wright does an AMAZING job narrating this story with many different voices & accents. This story has great characters and if you want to know what happens, you better grab this book. The Captain is book #2 in the Griffin Force series. I highly recommend listening (or reading) the series. I was given a copy of this audiobook for an honest review.

A great series continues

Very exciting; this was just right in intensity for me (some, but not too much). From the beginning to the end there is great character development as the main characters try to figure out how to safely get out and not compromise the mission. Clean.

An enjoyable story

I enjoyed this story. Julie Coulter Bellon is skilled at creating suspense and drama. This was a wonderful installment to a series that I have enjoyed thus far.

Well-written, believable (except that Griffin Force is starting to be filled with couples).

Great story where the fight against terrorism continues with drama and a touch of romance.

Nice deep voice, but does women’s voices well. Good cadence, expression and accents. I truly enjoy listening to Mr. Wright’s voice acting.

The Captain

Wow this read grabs you right from the beginning. Its a fast paced edge of your seat read. Thats a real page turner that I could not put down until I finished. The Narrator really brings the different characters out. And the Author has written the scenes so well that you can picture the scenes in you minds eye as you listen. This is definitely a must listen or read.

The Second one was even better

Brenna is undercover to try and take down a notorious terrorist. One day she finds that an old friend and member of the Griffin Force has been taken captive. Now, both must risk their lives to escape and continue the quest that they had started. The question becomes is a common enemy all that will bond these two?

The Captain picks up after Book 1 where the Griffin Force is formed. Though it is good as a stand-alone, reading this book after book one enhances the relationships of the team members of Griffin Force. Julie Coulter Bellon has another GREAT book and she once again chose Tristian Wright to do a great job bringing this book to life! I am looking forward to book 3!
