I really enjoyed this short Christmas suspense story. The narrator does a fantastic job!

I enjoy all of Ms Bellon's books. The writing is well done, and the story hold your interest. As for narration, Tristan Wright does an excellent job on her books. Good clean romance.

Loved this!

Fantastic story! This story brings adrenaline rushes together with an emotionally intense situation. It was emotionally charged story from the very beginning. We are pulled in to their turmoil and hope for a good outcome for them. Tristan Wright does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

Action Packed

This may be a novella, but it packs a full size story! From the first page to the last, there is tension, action and split second decisions. There is very little down time for this dynamic couple. As they plan a break from their stressful job, they get a break of another kind. This boo will have you on the edge of your seat rooting for Colt and Brenna as they maneuver their way out of troubled waters and into the deep end with love. This author really knows how to write action, I would suggest you treat yourself to the whole Griffin Force series!
The narrator take the reader in from the very first sentence to the ver last with her storytelling talents. She brings a whole new dimension to the mix.
It may have been mentioned that this is a standalone novella, but I think to get the full impact and to appreciate what is happening, it helps to be acquainted with the characters from Colt and Brenna’s story; book 2 “The Captain.”

Clean romantic suspense

If you like contemporary romance and suspense and are looking for a Christmas story look no further.
Colt and Brenna are first introduced in The Captain (Griffin Force #2 in the series), are told to take some time off for Christmas which sounds great, but...these two don't have regular boring jobs so why should their time off be like us regular boring people?

I loved the suspense yet there was still some romance in the story. This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill Christmas book. It was a nice little break from all the sweet romantic stories I'd been reading. This is a clean yet suspenseful story that definitely grabs your attention quickly. Being a novella it makes for a quick read when you're busy yet want to escape with a book. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator definitely had my attention. I thought he did a great job with the characters and getting the emotions across.

Action-packed story!

Ms. Bellon writes fantastic, clean, romantic suspense stories, and I love listening to her books on Audible. This novella isn’t a traditional Christmas story, but it is a well-written, can’t stop listening, engaging story! I found the length perfect for this extra busy time of year. Tristan Wright does such a great job bringing Ms. Bellon’s stories to life. I’d suggest listening to them all! Loved this one! Highly recommend!

Great Combination Of Sweet & Suspense!!!

Colt and Brenna are back!!! I just love these two and was hoping that they'd have a sweet and calm Christmas visiting family together. But they're part of Griffin Force and when they're called to help figure out an international conspiracy and try to protect the son of a Kuwaiti diplomat, you know they're not going to say no. Time to put Christmas plans on hold and jump into action!

It was a quick, power packed story! Even when things don't quite go the way they'd hoped—in their hopes for Christmas and in their mission—these two didn't disappoint in their attitudes and in their goodness, trust in each other and their quick thinking.

Filled with the great timing and plot twists that Julie Coulter Bellon writes so well, I was quite happy and satisfied with how this one turned out. Especially the ending. *Happy Sigh* I was smiling so much for these two and loved that the author wrote us a little more about Colt and Brenna. You'll be happy and touched with this one! And the narrator can sure bring out the charm and swoon!

Content: Clean. This one deals with a couple attacks and some flying bullets. Some kisses but nothing further and no language.
